With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Dean Dutton of Dothan, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Davenport and Anna Davenport; and her sister Barbara Westervelt. She is survived by: her children, Terry Grigsby, Martha Whited (Mike) and Kevin Dutton (Susie); her grandchildren, Zachary Dutton (Thomas Brown), Jennifer Totten (Samuel), Amy Hartsfield (Bart), Ashley Jacobsen (Ken) and Whitney Busch (Dillon); her stepgrandchildren, Travis Tew (Amie), Brad Philpot, Andrea Katz (Larry), Stacy Holmes (Jeff), Stephanie Harrison (Thomas), Harrison and Natalie Holmes; her great grandchildren, Jessica Gillis (Chris), Sara Messer (Seth), Henry Hartsfield, Carson Dean Busch, Kinsley Busch and Madison Jacobsen; her great great grandchildren, Maci and Wyatt Gillis; and her brother-in-law Wallace Westervelt.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made in Dorothy's honor to the new addition of the Wiregrass Pet Rescue and Adoption Center.
