He was predeceased by: his parents, Frate Skipper and Ruth White Skipper; and his siblings, Bonnie Tew, Gerald Skipper, Bill Skipper and Damon Skipper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Willis and Jody McLendon (Richard); his grandchildren, Jennifer Hidle (Donnie), Curtis Adkins, Kathy Shelley (Nick), Dale Gray (Samantha) and Joseph McLendon; and his close friend Joey Watford (JW).
