He was predeceased by: his father Harold Glenn Kirkman; his stepfather Harry Gardner; and his sister Dianne Kirkman Wells. He is survived by: his mother Kathryn Gardner; his sons, Justin Kirkman (Chelsey), Robert Nicholaus and John Ryan Kirkman; his grandson Jaxon; and his sisters, Debbie Dillender, Donna Newcomb and Melissa Amas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
