She is survived by: her daughter Lillie Melvin (William); her grandchildren, Erika Turner, Meredith Timpson (Willie), Anthony Melvin and Vincent Melvin (Shavonne); her nieces and nephews, Linda, Stephanie, Shawn, Larry, Jeffery and Nate Ward; and her sister-in-law Ethel Vaughn of Manhattan. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
