He is survived by: his wife Janice Nix Lybrand of Dothan, Alabama; his children, Lydia Lybrand Griffy of Chapel Hill and Mark Charles Lybrand (Patricia) of Olympia, Washington; his grandchildren, Robert Geoffrey Schultz (Sabrina) of Austin, Lindsay Schultz Vandever (Christian) of Spring Hill, TN, Sabastian Lybrand and Camila Lybrand; and his great grandchild Theodore James Vandever.
