She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Horne and Floyd Horne (Wayne Benton); and her siblings, Marolyn Pich, L. E. Elizabeth Ward, Christine Parker, Mollie Tindol, Betty McNeal, Vivian Enfinger and Bill Horne.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Benton; her daughter Wendy Benton Tatom; her son-in-law Mil Tatom of Dothan; and her caregivers, Janice Cook, Dottie DeGregorio, Amber Clark, Kaylie Swords, Ellen Jones and Shannon Burdeshaw. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
