We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2024, at the age of 86, Bobby Gene Layton of Dothan, Alabama, born in Houston, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Layton and Ethel Mae Layton; and his sisters, Bonnie Drinkwater and Miss Ethel Layton. He is survived by: his wife Janice Pynes Layton of Dothan; and his siblings, Daphne Lawrence (Mike), Kathy Creel of Tallahassee, Florida and Johnny Layton (Judy) of Yulee, Florida. He is also survived by 5 nieces, 4 nephews and several cousins.
