He was predeceased by: his wife Joann; his brother Joseph Hayes; and his nephew Joseph Hayes, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Carol Watkins; his grandchildren, Brandon Watkins (Dawn) and Adrian Watkins (Krystle); and his great grandchildren, Brayden Watkins, Nathaniel Apple and Jacob Toledo.
