She was predeceased by: her daughter Cassandra Gail Brown (Roderick Brown); her brothers, James Edward Koonce and Foy "Billy Jack" Koonce; and her sister-in-law Eva Koonce. She is survived by: her family Betty; her son Roderick D. Brown of Dothan, Ala.; her granddaughter Alliyah Kassandra Brown; her sister-in-law Mildred Koonce; and also Valerie Jackson-Brown of Dothan, Ala.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friend.
