He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Raiford and Donna Marjorie Ferguson Powell; and his wife Barbara Sue Miller Powell. He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Powell of Dothan; his sisters, Marie Powell (Gordon) of Tiger, GA, Jane Brown (Jerry) of Montgomery and Bonni McConnell (Jeff) of Montgomery; his grandchildren, William, Justin, Kate and Sawyer; and his son Mark Powell (Priscilla) of Dothan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society in Dothan.
