He was predeceased by: his father Emory "Em" Redding; his first-born William "Billy" Redding Solomon; his mother Elsie Claire Burdeshaw Solomon; and his brother Ligon "Lig" T. Solomon. He is survived by: his wife Jean Nordan Solomon; his children, Timothy Jackson Solomon (Molly Maguire) and Jean Claire Solomon Machamer (Gregory Allen); his grandchildren, Preston O'Neill Smith, James Redding Machamer, William Allen Machamer and Hallie Claire Maguire Solomon; his siblings, Rhoda Solomon Boone and John W. Solomon (Jill); his sister-in-law Cheryl Solomon; and also Stacey Hartley Solomon.
