He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mitchell Harper, Sr. and Minnie Tolitha Harper (Maddox); his wife Minnie Wynora Harper (Mercer); and his siblings, Burnelle Averett, Laura Dickerson, Fred, Raymond, Jack and Don Harper.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Harper (Rhonda) of Dothan and Mike Harper (Linda) of Dothan; his grandchildren, Jennifer Herring (Ron) of Dothan, Wesley Harper (Allyson) of Enterprise, Stephanie Evans (Jason) of Wauchula, FL and Steven Harper of Wauchula, FL; and his great grandchildren, Hanna Brooke Dixon (Taylor) of Rehobeth, Carson Herring of Dothan, Caleb Harper of Enterprise, Hayes Harper of Enterprise and Brandt Harper of Enterprise. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
