She was predeceased by : her husband Sammy Salter, Sr.; her children, Michael, Sammy, Jr., Jacqueline and Adam; her parent Mary Agnes Culver; and her siblings, Marvin Culver, Jr., John Culver, Susie Mae Daniels and Gwendolyn Underwood.

She is survived by : her son Ricky Salter (Betty) of Dothan, Alabama; her grandchildren, Keyerra Salter and Camillia Salter of Dothan; her great grandchildren, Xavier Melendez, Deandrae Jenkin, Deryus Salter, Darius Salter and Jenesis Bonner of Dothan, Alabama; her great great grandchild Khelani Salter of Dothan, Alabama; her sister Corinne Salter of Headland, Alabama; her daughter-in-law Jackie Salter of Dothan, Alabama; and her sister-in-law Alice Salter of Dothan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary (814 Headland Ave, Dothan, AL 36303). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rocky Mount Missionary Baptist Church (457 County Road 42 W, Abbeville, AL 36310).
