He was predeceased by: his parents, George Samuel McFaden and Bertha Virginia Willis McFaden; his wife Charlotte Ann McFaden; his daughter Pamela Lorene McFaden; and his siblings, Evelyn Virginia Yon and Willis Heyward McFaden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Chambliss (Mark), Jennifer Daugherty (Michael) and Sheila McCurley (Mike); and his grandchildren, Allison Wilson, John Michael McCurley (Katie), Justin Smith, Joshua Daugherty, Jillian Daugherty and Preston Daugherty. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home (2414 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Hays McKay Building Fund or Covenant Cancer Care Ministry at Covenant Methodist Church.
