She was predeceased by: her parents, Purnie Melcher and Odie Melche (Shedd); her husband Jimmy Fortenberry; and her children, Theresa Strickland and Phillip Crawford.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Bush (Archie); and her grandsons, Billy Stevens, Johnny Gober (Kaitlyn) and Jeremy Gober (Cortney). She is also survived by grandkids and one great great grandson.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crestview Memorial Funeral Home (5250 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adamsville, AL 35005). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crestview Funeral Home (5250 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adamsville, AL 35005).
