He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar B. Buckelew and Evelyn Buckelew Posey; his brothers, Jerry, Gene and Edwin Buckelew (Buck); and also James Posey.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Ratcliff Buckelew; his children, Daryl Buckelew (Beverly), Teresa Buckelew Parrish (Daniel) and Jana Buckelew Hayes; his grandchildren, Nathan Buckelew, Adam Buckelew, Victoria Parrish King, Daniel Parrish and Joel Parrish; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Paige, Ella, Peyton, Aria, Harry, Lucas, Bryant, Adalynn, Kylee, Bryson Cooper and Jerry Gosnell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bell Sumiton Chapel (510 Main St, Sumiton, AL 35148). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
