He was predeceased by: his parents, Ibeary "Bea" McDuffie and Henry McDuffie; his son Johnny Ronald McDuffie, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Jacqueline "Haley" Henderson and William John Savage.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy McDuffie of Dora, AL, Julie McDuffie Savage of Andalusia, Jennifer McDuffie of Andalusia and Jessika Gaskin (Quenton) of Dora; his close friend Vicki Eiland of Dora; and his siblings, Steve McDuffie, Charles McDuffie, Kathy McDuffie of Andalusia, Karen McDuffie of Andalusia and Sherrie Dubose of Andalusia. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
