He is survived by: his wife Kay Ellis; his sons, Kyle Ellis (Glenda) and Jeff Ellis (April); his sister Madonna Williams; his grandchildren, April Benefield, Scott Benefield and Shauna Nix; and his great grandchildren, Chloe Nix and David Joiner.
