He was predeceased by: his wife Debbie Nichols; his parents, Jerry McBee Nichols and Mary Elizabeth Nichols; his brother Randy E. Nichols; and his stepchildren, Christie Lee Godwin and Edward Glenn Godwin.
He is survived by: his cousins, Lisa Nichols Reynolds (Jay) and Mitchell "Anthony" Nichols (Anne); and his uncle Charles "Mitch" Nichols.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association.
