He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Hocutt and Janice L. Hocutt; and his grandparents, Clay, Lois Lollar, Medos and Lucy Hocutt.

He is survived by: his son Bradley Thomas Hocutt; his grandsons, Jackson Alexander Hocutt and Jordan Lee Hocutt; and his siblings, Sandra L. Duren (Gerald), Ginger A. Wilson (Greg) and Ricky D. Hocutt (Tammy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
