It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Jane Mackay of Dora, Alabama, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Ritch and Irene Ritch; her sons, Darren Mackay and Darryl Thomason; her son-in-law Joe Clark; and her siblings, Barbara Wise, Tommy Ritch, Steve Ritch and Billy Ritch.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Black and Dwayne Mackay (LaWanda); her sister Brenda Lemley (Frank); her sister-in-law Debra Ritch; her brothers, Kenneth Ritch (Vanessa) and Michael Ritch; her aunt Sue Stewart; her grandchildren, Dustin Black, Tyler Black (Whitney), Michael Mackay, Ashley Mackay, Jonathan Mackay, Gabby Mackay and Tabby McAlpine; her great grandchildren, Harley Black, Raylan Black, Weston Black, Rylee Mackay, Kailyn Holland, Ava Black, Axel Black and Zepplyn Bates; and her close friend Betty Key. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
