He was predeceased by: his parents, Stedman Cordell and Lois Cordell; his brothers, Arbon Cordell, Perry Cordell and Steve Cordell; and his grandson John Alexander Norris.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Roberts Cordell; his children, James Norris (Mike), Adrion Cordell, Jr. (Kip), Darren K. Cordell (Leesa) and Deborah K. Norris; and his siblings, Harley Cordell (Brenda), Dois Cordell (Nancy), Larry Cordell (Faye) and Ann Whitlow (JW). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
