She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Clayton Guyton, Sr. of Sulligent and Annie May Davis Guyton of Sulligent; her husband Russell Platt "Pat" Markham of Detroit; and her grandparents, Dewitt Talmadge Guyton, Lillie Morris Guyton of Sulligent, Benjamin Davis and Anna Petty Davis of Sulligent.
She is survived by: her child Russell Patrick Markham (Jenifer); her grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth and Claire Isabella of Northport, AL.; and her siblings, Wanda Johnson (Wayne) of Sulligent, Betty Lann (Larry) of Sulligent, Herman Guyton, Jr. (Shirley) of Sulligent and Dewitt Guyton (Sarah) of Leesburg, AL..
In lieu of flowers, she asks that contributions be made to Detroit First Baptist Church or Carter Cemetery.
