He was predeceased by: his parents, Myles Mayberry of Washington and Mattie Vermele Hill Mayberry; his wife Mary Emily Patterson; and his sisters, Jean Mayberry Bush and Sue Mayberry High.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Linda Mayberry Gaffney (John) of Birmingham, AL, Myles Mayberry, III of Montgomery, AL and James Leslie Mayberry (Floy) of Demopolis; his grandchildren, Mary Coleman Roberts (Jasper), Elizabeth Ann Wood (Jonathan) and John Michael Gaffney (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Jonathan Robert Wood, Jr., Myles Patterson Wood and Abigail Katherine Wood.
