He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Wendell and Maxine Smith Wendell. He is survived by: his wife Jan Karol Porter Wendell; his children, Carmel Wendell (John) and Tanner Wendell; his stepsons, Steve Luther (Elizabeth Ann) and John Luther (Glenda); and his siblings, Ann Wendell, Candy Powell, Mark Wendell and Jack Wendell. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 2 step grandchildren.
