He is survived by: his siblings, Gail Cooper (Charlotte) and Martha Cooper Loper; his wife Sherry Loper Cooper; his children, Melinda Cooper Perry (Tom), Robert Lee Cooper, Jr., Shana Cooper and William Britton Cooper, II (Connie); his grandchildren, Eugenia Compton Perry, Taylor Thomas Perry, III, Robert Lee Cooper, III, Katherine Elizabeth Cooper, Rachel Parks Cooper, Richard Cooper Perdue, Amelié Collins Cooper and William Britton Cooper, III; and his great grandchildren, Brion Hilton Baker and Sawyer Brooke Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Robert's name to The University of West Alabama Football Program, 100 U.S. 11, Livingston, AL 35470.
