She is survived by: her children, Gary Halsey, Vickie Narbit and Deborah Laney (John); her brother Donald Averett; her grandchildren, Heather Strawser (Philip), Jennifer Manuel (Brian), Kelly Gandy (Trey), Ron Freeman, Jessica Alldredge (Philip), Tyler Elmore, Grace Laney, Elizabeth Laney and John Wilson Laney V; and her great grandchildren, Eden Manuel, Truett Manuel, Sophia Strawser, Anna Strawser, Wade Gandy and Kendall Gandy.
