We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 62, Julie Summerford Davenport of Demopolis, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Julie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Julie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hugh Summerford and Shelby Jeanette Summerford; her husband George Allen Davenport; her children, Natalie Bearden (John) and Matthew Davenport; and her siblings, Doug Summerford (Twilla) and Pam Brame.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home (400 W Cahaba Ave, Linden, AL 36748). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bigbee Humane Society.
