We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2020, at the age of 83, Joe Richie of Demopolis, Alabama, born in Philadelphia, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Obie Carroll and Mary Hardin Richie; and his siblings, Kathryn Danielson, Frances R. Harpole, Louise R. Rogers, James Richie and Robert Richie.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Bath Richie; his daughter Lila Fontaine Richie Holsenback (Kenneth) of Auburn; and his grandchildren, Emily Fontaine Holsenback of Birmingham, AL, Charles Richie Holsenback of Nashville, TN and Patrick Townley Holsenback of Auburn.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial to Trinity Episcopal Church would be kindly appreciated.
