He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Mitchell Snipes and Lily Mae Massengale Snipes. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Glover Snipes; his sons, Charles Edward Snipes (Peggy) and Mitchell Wade Snipes (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Brantley Elizabeth Snipes, Margaret Affleck Snipes, Amanda Bell (James), Mallory Johnson (Paul), Andrew Snipes and Amzie Snipes. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
