He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Baxter Leon and Miriam June Bobo; his wife Veda Carletta Wright Bobo; his children, Matthew Alan Bobo, Amanda Denise Walker (David) and Allyson Marie Beverly; and his brother Tony Leon Bobo. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
