She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Etherington and Ruth Hickle Etherington; her daughters, Enola Lumpkin Burton and Jayne Lumpkin Penland; her daughter-in-law Lori Lumpkin; and her siblings, Jean Krank, Alice Hutchinson and Frank Etherington.

She is survived by: her husband Claude Lumpkin of Delta; her children, Karol Lumpkin Waters (Terry) of Lineville and Tommy Lumpkin of Delta; her brothers, Bill Etherington (Bernice), Jack Etherington and Walt Etherington of South Dakota; and her grandchildren, Michael Waters (Shannon), Mark Waters (Jessica), David Lumpkin (Natalia), Daniel Burton (Angelina) and Sarah Burton Wrightson (Chris).
