He is survived by: his close friend Joan Scroggins of Lake Martin; his children, Theresa Allen (Jimmy) of Roanoke, Tammy Cross (Stephen) of Roanoke, Tina Kennedy (Terry) of Roanoke and Tim Simpson (Beth) of Anniston; and his grandchildren, Ross Head (Brooke) of Alexander City, Will Head (Holley) of Opelika, Erin Burroughs (Trey) of Ashland, Paige Pugh (Christian) of Anniston, Tara McDaniel of Roanoke, Monica Collins (Nick) of Anniston, Carmen Simpson of Delta, Taylor Dukus (Ty) of Roanoke, Bailey Cross of Anniston and Abby Sears (Jacob) of Roanoke. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
