With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joey Higgins of Delta, Alabama, born in Anniston, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Randy Lee Higgins; and his mother-in-law Norma Frier. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Higgins of Delta; his children, Shannon Wingo (Alex) of Eastaboga, Tiffany Smith (Travis) of Millerville, Ashton Higgins (Mckennzee) of Lineville, Ashley Mitchell (Dalton) of Delta, Luke Higgins of Delta, Auburn of Delta and Harlie Higgins of Delta; his grandchildren, Alexa, Emma Smith, Sawyer, Ryleigh Wingo, Oaklee, Elainey Higgins and Weston Mitchell; his mother Mary Sue Clarke of Lineville; and his siblings, Miranda Jordan and Christian Higgins (Tanya) of Lineville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (89076 AL-9, Lineville, AL 36266). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Christiana Baptist Church.
