It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bradford Smith of Delta, Alabama, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleve Smith and Evie Woodard Smith; his grandchildren, Lauren Bolt and Matthew Smith; and his siblings, Lorene Daugherty, Eulene Buchanan, Shackford, Lenward, Winford "Dutch", Clifton, Sanford and Jimmy Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Buckhannan Smith of Delta; his children, James Alan Smith (Phyllis) of Delta, David Randall Smith (Doris) of Delta, Mark Smith (Shelia) of Cragford, Daniel Smith (Dawn) of Delta and Kimberly Bolt (Bobby) of Delta; and his brother Edward Smith of Barfield. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
