She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Montgomery and Mamie Montgomery; her husband J. E. "Buck" Privett; her daughter Brenda Shehan (John); her grandson Jeff Terry; and her siblings, Dorothy Walker, Orpah Perry, Marguerite Cronden and Joel Montgomery.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Terry (Charles); her granddaughters, Jennifer Cannon (Jason), Lisa Martin, Stacey Costanza (Vince), Amy Hovis (Aaron) and Traci Jones; and her great-nephews, Kevin and Jason Gandy. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
