We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Thomas Andrew Bennett of Decatur, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Bennett and Mabel Bennett of Hartselle; his wife Eloise Riethmaier Bennett; his grandson Christopher Thomas Bennett; and his brother Berval Bennett.
He is survived by: his son Larry Thomas Bennett; his daughter-in-law Deborah Herndon Bennett of Atlanta, GA; his granddaughter Lauren Bennett Trinkle; his grandson-in-law Matthew Trinkle of Woodstock, GA; and his sisters, Carolyn Bennett of Mount Hope and Mary Sue Butler of Athens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Being that Tom had a passion for helping others and loved animals, in lieu of flowers the family would be grateful for donations made in his memory to Meals on Wheels (c/o Shontez Wynn, 1510 4th Ave SE, Decatur, AL 35601) or Labrador Friends of the South (PO Box 933, Cumming, GA 30028).
