It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa McKean of Decatur, Alabama, born in Athens, Alabama, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Charles Melvin Holt; and her brother Charlie Holt. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Ann Brooks Holt of Athens; her husband Geoffrey McKean of Decatur; her daughters, Stacey Lynn Thomas (David) of Pace, FL, Amanda Lee Rikard (Jason) of Decatur and Alisha Ann Singley of Decatur; her stepsons, Jake McKean (Jessica) of Decatur and Brandon McKean of Decatur; her sisters, Charlsa Greenhaw (David) of Athens, Sherry Murphy (Mark) of Athens, Vickie Thornton (Harland) of Elkmont, Cindy Adams of Florence and Beth Major (Jim) of Canton, GA; and her grandchildren, Dayton Howell, Madison Thomas, Brayden Thomas, Koby Howell, Holt Townsend, Kamryn Parker, Chloe Rikard and Brennon Rikard. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
