He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Whitley and Mildred Woods Whitley; and his brother Johnny Whitley. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Whitley; his sister Jackie Bryan; and his half-siblings, Terry Whitley, Ben Whitley and Kim.
