It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Holmes of Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Bro. Joe Holmes, Sr. of Decatur; her children, Joe Holmes Jr. (Kimberly Akers Holmes) of Priceville, Danny Holmes (Gail Overton Holmes) of Priceville, Jeremy Holmes (Jessica Hames Holmes) of Priceville and Tanya Holmes Segars (Kirk Segars) of New Hope; her sister Francis Hurt (James Hurt) of Haleyville; her grandchildren, Christen Holmes Teague (Hunter Teague) of Priceville, Ben Holmes (Sarah May Holmes) of Greenville, Tyler Holmes, Trent Holmes, Tristan Holmes, Mia Segars, Tessa Holmes, Samuel Holmes, Lex Segars and Albany Holmes; and her great grandchildren, Ginny Teague, Turner Teague, Walker Teague and Lottie Teague. She is also survived by her four children, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family respectfully asks that anyone attending the graveside service wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
