It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Garlin Grace of Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Grace and Bernice Grace. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Summers (Lyn); his children, Jeffrey Grace (Shannon), Katherine Thompson (Doug), Caroline Joiner (Donald) and Ashley Perry (John); his sister Diane Grace Mann of Montgomery, AL; his grandchildren, Parker, Paige Grace, Drew, Grace Thompson, Millie, Walker Joiner, Ruth and Garlin Perry; and his nieces, Christy Carter (Tyler) and Alison Till (Steve).
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Richard's memory to Decatur Methodist Church or Hospice of the Valley.
