He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hurley Evans and Bonnie Louise Lipscomb Evans. He is survived by: his wife Misako Hayama Evans of Decatur; his children, Gordon Evans (Venda) of Ft. Worth, TX, Ralph Evans, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Alisa Sumi Parker (Jerry) of Decatur; and his sister Virginia Ledbetter (Gary) of Decatur. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
