He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Charles Dalton and Dora Murphy Dalton; his wife Frances Mae Milligan Dalton; and his sons, Philip Dalton, Jr. of Decatur, John Dalton (Lori) of Madison, Michael Dalton of Little Rock, AR and Steve Dalton of Decatur. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
