She is survived by: her husband Wayne Nicklaus; her children, Randy Nicklaus (Lisa) and Laura Romine (Brent); her sister Judy Walls; her sisters-in-law, Nelda Powell, Betty Thompson and Ruth Nicklaus; her grandchildren, Sawyer Nicklaus, Benjamin Romine, Timothy Romine (Regan), Martin Vickers (Abbie) and Madisonn Vickers; and her great grandchildren, Archer Vickers and River Vickers.
