She was predeceased by: her brothers-in-law, Joseph Fenton and Warren Clark; and her parents, Frances St (Phillips) and Walter Davis St. John. She is survived by: her husband John Fenton; her sons, Daniel Fenton (Tina), Darrel Fenton (Kaycee), Clyde Fenton (Veronica), Matthew Fenton (Terry), Andrew Fenton (Leslie) and Lael Fenton (Suzanne); and her siblings-in-law, Joel Fenton (Marilyn), Joan Clark and Elizabeth Fenton. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and eight nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Home (23599 AL-24, Trinity, AL 35673). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (4511 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35603).

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, P. O. Box 7745, Decatur, AL 35602.
