She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Ashford; her grandchildren, Nicole Thomas and Eric Ashford (Carol); her great grandchildren, Travia Ashford, Whitney Ashford, Shontavia Edwards, Jonathan Hill, Erica Ashford, Kolee Ashford, Sianna Ashford and Elijah Ashford; her siblings, Dorothy Brooks, Joyce Van, Dr. Evelyn Penn (Brenda), Arlene (Denise), Turner (Willis) and Charles Bowman; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Bowman and Lillie Bowman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
