He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Horton McDaniel; his children, Lewis McDaniel, Jr. of Nashville, Jerry Horton of Decatur, Lakeisha Horton of Decatur, Samantha Horton of Decatur, Christy Toney (Wendell) of Decatur and Angela Horton of Decatur; his sisters, Flora Jennings of Nashville, TN and Bertha Coleman (Ronnie) of Decatur; his mother-in-law Katie Horton Sales of Decatur; his nephew James Roach; his niece Vickie King; his parents-in-law, Shelia H. Holyfield, Posey Horton III and Avis Horton; and his close friends, Johnny Strain and Thad Usry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
