He is survived by: his sister Lucy Blackwell (LeRoy); his children, Carol Colquitt Godwin (George) and Larry Lee Colquitt, Jr. (Erin); his grandchildren, Bo Godwin (Devin), Caroline Godwin Dresner (Brian), Lee Godwin (Christy), Chloe Schuessler (Sam), Molly Gambill (Hunter) and Jillian Colquitt; and his great grandchildren, James and Alex Godwin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Decatur Presbyterian Church earmarked "missions".
