He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Wilhite and Zella Mae Wilhite; and his sisters, Maebelle Apel, Frances Nearen, Marie Goff and Freda Perry.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Wilhite; his daughter Tami Glenn (Tom) of Moulton, AL.; his stepdaughter Kim Wenzler (Andy) of Decatur Al; his grandchildren, Thomas Glenn (Brianna), Will Mitchell (Emily) of Decatur and Andrew Wenzler (Peyton) of Birmingham, AL; his sisters, Dorothy Duke and Joan Duke (Frank); and his stepdaughter Debbie Mitchell (Jack) of Decatur, AL..
