He is survived by: his brother Nick Spence; his grandparents, George and Dot Stovall; and his extended family, Sheila Gilespie, Sherman Hill and Stephanie Reeves. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Shelton Funeral Home (2105 Beltline Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Decatur City Cemetery (1001 Wilson St NW, Decatur, AL 35601).
The family has kindly requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Cody.
